Focus groups and mock trials are powerful tools that can help us identify themes that will resonate with juries in the courtroom. In mock trials, we present the case evidence from both the Plaintiff’s and the Defendant’s perspective to a group of mock jurors – who are not told which side we represent. These jurors then deliberate and answer questions, just as the real jury ultimately will. PayneMitchell Law Group videotapes the deliberations and uses them to learn how to improve our presentation.
