Jim Mitchell Settles a Case Against Electric Company.
Jim Mitchell litigated a case against an electric company regarding the largest wildfire ever in the State of Texas. The fire occurred in the Texas panhandle and resulted in 900,000 acres of property damage. Jim represented the family of a volunteer fireman who was killed fighting the fire and another fireman who was severely injured. Jim was able to successfully obtain a large confidential settlement against the electric company, claiming that poorly maintained power lines started the fire.
